About Us

Founded in 1946, the Lexington Park Lions Club is a proud part of Lions Clubs International, the largest volunteer service organization in the world. As a non-profit group, our members—men and women from diverse backgrounds in the St. Mary’s County area—come together with a shared commitment to improving the quality of life for others. Our membership reflects a broad cross-section of the community, including farmers, business professionals, government workers, and retirees, all united by a passion for service.

While our primary mission aligns with the Lions Clubs International focus on supporting individuals with vision impairments, our services have expanded over the years to address the needs of those with hearing loss and children affected by diabetes. In all our activities, we are guided by the Lions motto: We Serve.

Our dedication to the Lexington Park community is demonstrated through various fundraising efforts, where every dollar raised is directed towards community service initiatives. No public contributions are used for administrative or social expenses; club members personally cover these costs, ensuring that all resources go directly towards those in need.
